Devon and Cornwall - two trips in one - join us for either or both parts.
For the May Bank Holiday weekend we have 3 nights at Elmscott hostel on the North Devon coast (Saturday 2nd to Tuesday 5th May). Elmscott is a charming, independent hostel in a former Victorian school located on the Hartland Heritage Coast, with views out to Lundy Island.
On Tuesday 5th we head into Cornwall for 9 nights at Trefreock Farmhouse, St Endellion, near Port Isaac (5th to 14th May) "A wonderful very spacious Grade II listed Cornish Farmhouse surrounded by stunning countryside and beautiful coastal views".
Deposits are now being collected – places are limited so don’t delay!
A few places are available at Elmscott hostel (£66 deposit to book). Trefreock is now full.

Meet in the village car park at Writtle (CM1 3DT, near the duck pond) at 10am for a walk of about 6 miles with the option for lunch at the Rose & Crown.

Walk - Anstey, Barkway and Nuthampstead

Meet at 10:30am in the car park beside Anstey Infants School and just south of the parish church. The entrance to the small car park is signposted to Anstey Village Hall, SG9 0BY (NGR TL404327).
This is lovely, varied walk of about 6.9 miles taking in Anstey, Barkway and Nuthampstead.
We’re likely to visit a pub or two, but please bring something for your lunch.
