Staying in Hadfield Barn at Bushy Heath Farm, a high-quality bunkhouse near Tideswell in Derbyshire, we plan to cycle on the Monsal Trail – recently extended former railway described as one of the most spectacular leisure routes in Britain for cycling. Walkers also welcome!

The Lion on the main road in Boreham does excellent food, in particular succulent and delicious pies. Meet at 7:30pm.

Meet at the museum in High Street, Ware (see map)at 10:30am for 6½ mile walk taking in the Lee Navigation, Stansted Abbots and Great Amwell.
