West Park Pitch and Putt

Wednesday 7th June

Pitch & Putt

An evening of something vaguely resembling golf! Meet in the car park of West Park Pitch and Putt, Waterhouse Lane, Chelmsford at 7.30pm if you want a game, or 9pm at the Black Bull pub in Rainsford Road if you just fancy a pint.

Sunday 11th June

Sunday Cycle Ride, Dedham

Sue

Meet in large car park opposite the Mill in Dedham at 10.30am.  We will start off in 'Constable country', riding through Stratford St Mary and Higham, before getting onto narrow country lanes, which climb up to Polstead (famous for the Red Barn Murder) and taking in the pretty villages of Kersey, with its ford, and Boxford (home of a motorcycling large cat!) to arrive at the remote and beautiful St Peter's Church, Milden (the highest point in Suffolk, looking down on Lavenham church in the distance)  Several pubs en route, so we won't go thirsty!  Distance is 25-30 miles.

Please bring a packed lunch.
