Annual General Meeting

This is our chance to recap over the last year and look to the year ahead. The meeting starts on Zoom at 8.30pm. There is a phone alternative for those who struggle with the internet. See panel below for joining instructions. Online voting will be available, or you can appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf.

Agenda to include Secretary’s, Treasurer’s and Chairman’s report, Election of the Committee.

Any motions for the meeting, or appointment of proxies, should be sent in writing to the Secretary Dave Julian.

Walk & Lunch – Great Dunmow

Meet at 10.30am in Great Dunmow White Street Long Stay car park (CM6 1AB, free on Sundays) https://w3w.co/education.tree.blank for a walk of about 8 miles, returning via the Angel and Harp for a late lunch at about 3pm.

It’s been quite a while since we walked the last leg of the Thames Path, and even longer since the first leg, so we thought we were due a reminder of the journey we’ve taken so far. From the Thames Barrier to Oxford in easy stages over 15 years... On Zoom from 8.30pm.

Friday 28^th to Sunday 30^th October

At last - walking the next section of the Thames path, upstream from Oxford, to Newbridge and Kelmscott, around 14 miles each day. We’ll be staying at the Premier Inn in Botley, which is about a mile from the Thames at Oxford. Meals will be in local restaurants/pubs.

£72 for a bed in a twin room. Price likely to rise if we book more rooms.
