Walk in Weald Country Park

Trudi

The walk postponed from March due to flooding and foot & mouth.

Weald Park, north-west of Brentwood, is a mix of semi-formal parkland, large areas of woodland and the remnants of a medieval deer park.

Meet 11am at the main car park ¼ mile NW of South Weald village (Grid ref TQ570939, see map). The walk is 9 miles with shorter options, bring sandwiches for lunch.

Wednesday 31st October

Halloween Night

Trudi

Why stay in and put up with all those little horrors that come knocking at your door trick-or-treating? Come and spend your Halloween with us instead! Trudi is hosting a traditional pumpkin carving and foul food night. The pumpkin carving is pretty self explanatory, but for foul food you will need to exercise the dark corners of your imagination. The basic idea is to bring along food that looks disgusting, but is perfectly edible (I feel I should emphasise that last part) - rice maggots, spaghetti worms, amputated finger sausages, etc. the world of food colouring is your oyster.

Note: Unless otherwise stated, Wednesday events start at 8.30pm at the YMCA in Victoria Road, Chelmsford
