If you have any suggestions or preferences for trips and events
please let the committee know. We have the following planned so
to Sunday 30th September
is a converted barn in a quiet corner of the Peak District,
close to the beautiful Dove and Manifold valleys. Comprehensively equipped, it
offers a large lounge and well-equipped self-catering facilities. Passing close
by the barn, the Manifold Valley Track, Tissington Trail and High Peak Trail
provide easy access to beautiful countryside. Dovedale, the Upper Dove Valley and the remote and mysterious moorlands around Flash and Longnor offer
stunning scenery for walkers.

Eskdale, Lake District
An autumnal week in the Lake District. We've booked Fisherground Farmhouse in Eskdale - a self-catering
house sleeping 16 people (4 doubles and 4 twins). The house is in the heart of Eskdale, one of the most tranquil valleys of the Lake District, and has fantastic views of the surrounding fells. The George IV pub is just 10 minutes walk away.
On Monday (5th November), we'll be celebrating Ali's big birthday.
Come for a long weekend, or the full week (and if there's sufficient interest we might find other accommodation for the following weekend). We expect the cost of accommodation to work out at about £20 per person per night (with a minimum payment of 4 nights per person).
