The Discovery at Harwich

Meet at 10.30am at the HaíPenny Pier visitor centre (grid ref TM259328, see map), The Quay, Harwich CO12 3HH, for a walk of about 4 miles. Bring sandwiches for lunch, then weíll visit the museum and ship in the afternoon.

Wednesday 26th September
Having found Johnís Jordan talk absolutely fascinating, Iím really looking forward to the Syria sequel. Rock, dust and politics in the Middle East.
"Syria, central to the modern Middle East and gradually emerging from decades of isolation, offers much to see. Slides of ancient Greek cities, Biblical places, Crusader castles, Byzantine churches, thermal springs, the Dead Sea and modern sites."
Note: Unless otherwise stated, Wednesday events start at 8.30pm at the YMCA in Victoria Road, Chelmsford
