Sunday 1st November Hadleigh Castle & Leigh Marshes walk John M Starting at 10am, this walk will take in Hadleigh Castle, the Ridgeback path to Old Leigh, Two Tree Island, the Thames seawall and the Olympic cycle track. Contact John for details. Please see this advice. Sunday 1st to Friday 6th November A Week in the Lake District Dave P Provisional new date for our postponed Easter trip. We'll be staying in the Carlisle Diocesan Youth Centre at St John's-in-the-Vale, nestled in the North Lakeland hills, a remote and rugged location, yet only 4 miles from Keswick. We've got the Centre for 5 nights. You'll need to bring a sleeping bag and pillowcase. Location: St Johns-in-the-Vale CA12 4UB, grid ref NY306224, ///panics.multiples.steam. From A66 at Threlkeld, follow B5322 south for 1½ miles then turn right following signs for Youth Centre. THIS TRIP IS POSTPONED UNTIL EASTER 2022 Wednesday 4th November Virtual Pub Join on our usual Zoom link from 8:30pm for an informal chat. Beer is optional. Wednesday 11th November Quiz Night Dave J Test your wits with one of Dave’s fiendish quizzes. Usual Zoom link from 8:30pm. Sunday 8th November Galleywood Common and St.Peter's Way walk Cress Contact Cress for meet up details if you want to come. It will be a walk of about 10 miles taking in Hanningfield and Margaretting Tye. Please see this advice.
