Leigh Marshes Walk

Join John for a walk along the Hadleigh and Leigh Marshes coastline, including visits to Two Tree island and Hadleigh castle, stopping for tea & cockles at Old Leigh. Meet in the car park on Two Tree island (not in the car park behind Leigh Station) at 10.30 and bring sandwiches for lunch.

What hazards might we face in the Lake District? A chance to think about how to keep our trips safe for everyone.  Navigation, clothing & equipment, weather, hypothermia, ticks… and many other possible topics, complete with informative videos.  We’ll also be having a look  at the basic food hygiene advice we should be aware of when catering for the group.

Note: Unless otherwise stated, Wednesday events start at 8.30pm at the YMCA in Victoria Road, Chelmsford
