Pub Walk, Pleshey

Join us for a lovely walk followed by a drink at The Leather Bottle, Pleshey. Pleshey is about 5 miles NW of Chelmsford, and the pub is in the centre of the village (grid ref TL665145). Meet at 7:30pm outside the pub for the walk or 9pm inside the pub for a drink.

Saturday 7^th June

Picnic at Hylands Park

Lynn has invited everyone for a picnic in Hylands Park. Bring food, kites, frisbees etc. Use the Writtle bypass entrance, and find us in the field to the right of the path from the car park to the house, from 12.30pm.

Wednesday 11^th June

Pitch ‘n’ Putt

An evening of something vaguely resembling golf! Meet in the car park of West Park Pitch and Putt, Waterhouse Lane, Chelmsford at 7.30pm if you want a game, or 9pm at the Black Bull pub in Rainsford Road if you just fancy a pint. Cost: approx. £4.

Margery Millers Maid Walk

Meet at the gravelled parking area in Chappel (take the turning for Knights Farm, past the Swan pub and the School, parking on the left, NGR 895285) at 10:30am. The Margery Millers Maid Walk is about 12 miles. There is a pub part way round, but please bring sandwiches for lunch.

Wednesday 25^th June

Midsummer Bike Ride

Meet at the car park by Writtle Green at 7:30pm for a lovely cycle ride through the quiet country lanes to The Duck, Newney Green, returning after a drink or two. Please bring lights for the ride home.

Note: Unless otherwise stated, Wednesday events start at 8.30pm at the YMCA in Victoria Road, Chelmsford
