Join us for a drink in the garden at the Quart Pot, Runwell, near Wickford, SS11 7PN from about 8:30pm.

Wednesday 10^th July

Pub Walk - Ongar

Meet in the Budworth Hall car park, Ongar CM5 9AG (near the toilets) at 7:30pm for a walk of about 4 miles out to Greenstead church and back. We’ll be back for a drink at The Cock around 9ish.

Saturday 13^th July

Saffron Trail - pt VII

The final leg of the trail takes us from Henham to the glorious finish in Saffron Walden - about 11 miles. Meet at 10:00 in the car park at the Lord Butler Leisure Centre, Peaslands Rd (near junction with Thaxted Rd), Saffron Walden CB11 3EG for a car shuffle to Henham and the start of the walk.

Bring something for lunch, and afterwards, to celebrate the completion of the trail you’re invited to a barbecue at Dave & Ali’s house.

Join us at The Crown in Sandon to plan events for October and trips for next year.

Thaxted Cycle Ride

Meet in the Margaret Street car park at Thaxted CM6 2QN at 10:30 for a cycle ride of about 25-35 miles through the Essex countryside. I’m sure we’ll stop for snacks, but please bring lunch.

Pub Night – Rose and Crown

It’s Jazz Night at the Rose and Crown, Gt Waltham, CM3 1AG. Meet us for a drink and a bit of music from 8:30pm.

Pub Walk/Cycle from The Viper

Meet at the Viper, Mill Green, CM4 0PT, at 7:30pm for a walk with Cress (3-4 miles) or a bike ride with Mike (10ish miles).

Note: Unless otherwise stated, Wednesday events start at 8.30pm at the YMCA in Victoria Road, Chelmsford
