Meet in the public car park by the green in Writtle at 10:30am for a short winter walk of 6 miles or so around this lovely corner of Essex. We’ll probably have a late lunch at the Horse and Groom pub in Roxwell Road.  Please let Cressida know if you’re planning to come.

Come for a fascinating insight into the history of Istanbul, Turkey and Tunisia. Historic and beautifully decorated mosques, palaces of the sultans, Roman architecture and bustling medinas. See the influence of three religions on Istanbul, a trip up the Bosphorus and spot the Monty Python scenes!
