Wednesday 5th February Pub Night Queens Head from 8:30pm. Formerly called The Partners, the pub is in Lower Anchor Street, just off the B1007 New London Road, Chelmsford (Grid Ref TL702063 see map). Wednesday 12th February Committee Meeting Everyone welcome. We will be discussing Wednesday nights for April and weekends away for Spring and Summer. All suggestions welcome. Sunday 16th February Radwinter and Ashdon Walk A walk of about 10 miles exploring some of the picturesque villages and countryside near Saffron Walden. Meet at 10am in Radwinter car park (from Saffron Walden, take B1053 east for 4 miles, turn left at cross roads by the church in Radwinter, car park is on the left opposite the school; grid ref TL606373, see map; allow an hour from Chelmsford). Lunch at the 17th Century Rose and Crown pub in Ashdon, where Cromwell once imprisoned Royalists. Please let Dave know a few days before if you're planning to come.
